Objectives
This NoE has the overall objective to lead the way in shaping the future of preventive healthcare, ultimately improving health outcomes and well-being for individuals across Europe.
The specific objectives are:
- To establish a collaborative and interdisciplinary network that fosters innovation and implementation of personalized preventive strategies
- To develop education and training initiatives that aim to enhance knowledge dissemination and skill development among healthcare professionals and the general public regarding personalized cancer prevention and screening
- To develop a sustainable and efficient strategy for health policies in terms of personalised cancer prevention and screening, to understand the complex interplay of genetic,environmental, and lifestyle factors in cancer risk, which is essential for effective personalized prevention and screening
- To map personalised prevention and screening initiatives
- To identify optimal process and outcome indicators for the evaluation of the clinical utility of personalized prevention
- To create lasting solutions that can continue to benefit individuals and communities affected by cancer over time, to leverage collective expertise and resources to improve prevention, early detection and screening outcomes for breast and ovarian and cervical cancer
- To disseminate information to key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, patients, and the general public, this initiative aims to raise awareness, facilitate knowledgesharing, and promote the adoption of evidence-based practices in cancer prevention and screening efforts
- To set up training & twinning programmes on breast, ovarian and cervical cancer initiative with the aim to establish collaborative partnerships between institutions with expertise in personalised cancer screening initiatives to enhance knowledge exchange between experts and cancer centres
