On behalf of the 2nd Joint Action on Networks of Expertise on Cancer (JANE-2), we welcome the European Commissionโs Call for Evidence on the European Data Union Strategy. This response has incorporated the inputs of JANE-2โs partners and is a true reflection of at least 22 Member Statesโ perspectives (out of the 29 countries involved in JANE-2). JANE-2 and its partners have reflected on this important topic and provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges faced by the scientific community as well as corresponding 13 recommendations in the context of the development of EU Health Networks, such as JANE-2โs Networks of Expertise on Cancer.
