This webinar, co-organised by DG SANTE and HaDEA, celebrates the European Week Against Cancer and aligns with this year’s campaign to end inequalities in access to prevention, early detection, treatment, and care for all.
Olivier Várhelyi, Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, will open the webinar, followed by a speech from Marc Tachelet, Director of HaDEA.
Five speakers, representing EU4Health-funded projects under Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, will discuss how these projects are addressing and contributing to the reduction of cancer inequalities across the cancer pathway, from prevention and early detection to treatment and quality of life.
